Treasure!

Aluminum, powder coating. 2019. Client: The City of Pompano Beach, FL

The 500 lb. treasure chest sculpture is filled with an imaginary fortune in gold ingots and doubloons. It was exhibited on the oceanfront walk in Pompano Beach for a year before being sunk in the Atlantic ocean and becoming part of an artificial reef system attached to the deck of a sunken ship called the Lady Luck in Shipwreck Dive Park.
